Matthew J. Venuto, DMD

Dr. Matthew Venuto is a proud native of South Jersey. His entire education and work experience have taken place right here in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area.

Dr. Venuto was born and raised in Cherry Hill. He graduated from Cherry Hill High School East, then moved on to the Rutgers University–Camden where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and graduated with high honors. He then attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After dental school, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency with the Virtua Health System. Dr. Venuto has been working here in the Sicklerville community since shortly after finishing his residency program.

 

Dr. Venuto is passionate about excellence in dental care and in giving back to the community. He is a member of the South Jersey Dental Study Club, a group of local dentists who meet regularly to learn from each other and from nationally recognized experts in many different disciplines of dentistry. He believes strongly in continuing education, participating in many courses to remain on the cutting edge of new technologies and developments in the field.

 

He also mentors students in his spare time, speaking to undergraduate students in the Rutgers-Camden Pre-Dental Society to help guide them through the rigorous dental school admissions process and answer questions about the challenges and rewards of an education and career in dentistry.

Dr. Venuto resides in Camden County with his wife Mary Clare, daughter Anna, and dog Penny. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and is an active member of his church community. His hobbies include cycling and running, cooking and brewing beer, and enjoying the company of family and friends. He loves supporting the Eagles and Phillies, spending time down the shore and traveling to new destinations with his family.
